The report - for the first time - has collected data on energy RD&D investments in these six countries and provides a systematic analysis of energy technology innovation policies in each of these countries. Furthermore, the report identifies three areas of energy innovation activities that could benefit from international cooperation activities: (1) demonstration projects, (2) entrepreneurial activities, (3) and, deployment policies for energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. The policy brief summarizing the highlights of this report and can be found here: http://belfercenter.ksg.harvard.edu/publication/20615
